Fabrication Technician
Manufacturing - Pittsburgh, PA - Full Time
Position Overview:
Under general supervision, uses hand tools and electric tools to mount parts, fabricate sheet metal enclosures, assemble power stacks and install power wire and/or wire harness for various products according to job shop instructions and by following the company's workmanship standards. Possess the basic understanding of measuring to 1/32nd of an inch with a temp measurer, torque tolerance and hardware assembly.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 1-5 years’ demonstrated fabrication or sheet metal experience.
- Possess the basic understanding of measuring, torque tolerance and hardware assembly.
- Ability to work independently to complete milestones.
- Demonstrated ability to meet quality and productivity standards within team.
- Good time-management skills and ability to set priorities.
- Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, customer service and teamwork.
- Experience with greenlee punches, plasma cutters and other metal punches strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in electro-mechanical processes for fabricating and assembling control panels.
- Technical degree related to wiring or electro-mechanical assembly preferred.
