Assembly Technician - Stacks
At Benshaw, Stacks Assembly Workers are responsible for assembling the core electrical components—often referred to as "stacks"—used in Benshaw's motor control systems. These workers are essential to the manufacturing process and ensure that the assembled stacks meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm
- Overtime opportunity (voluntary) before shift, after shift & Saturdays
Location: 615 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble stack components (such as contactors, relays, terminal blocks, and bus bars) based on mechanical and electrical schematics.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to accurately assemble parts.
Use hand and power tools to mount, connect, and secure electrical and mechanical parts.
Perform wiring and soldering tasks as required by the product design.
Ensure quality control by inspecting components and assemblies for defects or non-conformance.
Test subassemblies for function and continuity before final product integration.
Collaborate with engineers and quality control to troubleshoot assembly issues.
Maintain clean and organized workstations and follow all safety procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in electrical or mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
High school diploma or GED typically required; technical training a plus.
