Position Overview:
Service Technician will perform troubleshooting and repair on Benshaw electronic components, panels, and assemblies.
Location: 615 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238
Hours: Onsite, Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm

Job Responsibilities:
- Independently perform diagnosis and repair of the complete line of Benshaw products serviced.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of all Benshaw products to assess failure causes and determine warranty eligibility.
- Ensure precision in repairs to minimize repeat failures and bounce backs
- Ensure reliable repair outcomes through attention to detail to support the department’s growth objectives
- Utilization of our ERP System “IFS” to process all repair orders and RMA’s
- Process RMA’s and determine suitability of restocking and issue appropriate credits in timely manner.
- Must be proficient in the use of electrical test equipment such as multimeters, hi-pot testers, and current meters
- Understand the functions and uses of test fixtures and related equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot problems, conduct regular maintenance to maintain peak operation.
- Accurately report quality issues and component failures in a timely manner
- Consistently meet or exceed the company’s quality goals.
- Support company objectives in achieving established and future KPI goals.
- Maintain Benshaw’s 5S Standards in the workplace
- Ensure PPE is functional and used appropriately.
- Adhere to and help develop Benshaw Safety Policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting complex electronic assemblies
- High School Diploma or GED required
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic panels and assemblies down to component level.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
- Solid computer skills, including familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Reliable and dependable, with a flexible attitude toward overtime
- Prior military experience as an Electronic Technician is highly applicable
- Ability to solder a plus
