Position Overview:
Under general supervision, uses hand tools and electric tools to mount parts, fabricate sheet metal enclosures, assemble power stacks and install power wire and/or wire harness for various products according to job shop instructions and by following the company's workmanship standards. Possess the basic understanding of measuring to 1/32nd of an inch with a temp measurer, torque tolerance and hardware assembly.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Degree or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ demonstrated fabrication, sheet metal, carpentry or related experience.
• Possess the basic understanding of measuring, torque tolerance and hardware assembly.
• Ability to work independently to complete milestones.
• Demonstrated ability to meet quality and productivity standards within team.
• Good time-management skills and ability to set priorities.
• Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, customer service and teamwork.
Desired Qualifications
• Ability to read, comprehend and understand blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability in and electro mechanical processes for fabricating and assembling control panels.
• Technical degree related to wiring or electro mechanical assembly preferred.
