Position Overview: Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

Job Hours & Location
  • 6am-2:30pm
  • Benshaw: 615 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238

Job Responsibilities
  • Accurately picks large quantity of parts for production shop orders.
  • Counts weighs or measures items to compare identifying info and variety against bills, invoices, or other records
  • Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify. Completes paperwork or forms for documentation.
  • Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, and stamping. Prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading.
  • Operates material handling equipment. Forklift to pull large, palletized boxes from high locations
  • Performs other duties including but not limited to- Returning stock to warehouse, assisting receiving department, and general warehouse functions
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
  • HS diploma/GED
  • Forklift / Reach truck experience required
  • Previous experience in warehouse or shipping, and experience with job duties listed above
  • Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing a variety of programs
  • Ability to lift to 35 pounds on occasion throughout a shift.
